  • How will I receive my order?
    During checkout, retailers will be prompted to choose between arranging their own shipping or requesting a quote from DSGN Exchange. For international shipping, DSGN Exchange has partnered with RHENUS LOGISTICS to facilitate the process. It's important to note that DSGN Exchange does not cover customs and duties. Shipping fees must be paid upfront and in full upon submission of the quote.
  • Is Dx free to join?
    Yes , once approved it is free for both Retailers and Brands to be on the platform. As a Brand , a pre-agreed commision will be deducted from each sale. This will be part of your approval process
  • What criteria do I need to meet as a brand?
    DSGN Exchange's website, events, and community offerings cater specifically to small to medium-sized brands in men’s and women’s fashion, as well as accessories. Currently, we focus on brands that manufacture their goods in South Africa, but we will soon be expanding to include brands from outside South Africa. We encourage you to apply to register your interest so we can reach out when the expansion occurs. If your brand is export-ready, with line sheets, professional images, and lookbooks, you should apply to join our platform. While not all brands will be accepted, we are committed to maintaining a curated selection. If your brand needs assistance in becoming export-ready, our colleagues at DSGN Native will be available to help you achieve this goal. You can reach out to them at dsgnnative@gmail.com
  • Returns and Refunds
    Retailers have a grace period of 7 days from receipt to report any issues with their order. In the event of garment-related issues attributable to the brand, please reach out to Shingai Nyagweta at dsgnexchange@gmail.com. Provide clear images of the problem for assessment. Following assessment, the resolution will be determined: either the garments will be replaced and shipped at the brand's expense, or a refund will be issued for the identified items. It's important to note that DSGN Exchange and its brands do not accept liability for damages incurred during shipping and handling.
  • What criteria do I need to meet as a retailer?
    When inviting retailers to join our platform, we carefully consider several factors. These include: being established in business for a minimum of two years, possessing a verifiable track record of offering quality products and brands, and operating within a contemporary or high-end price range. While these criteria are primary considerations, they are not exhaustive, and we may occasionally extend invitations to retailers who do not meet all requirements. However, these factors serve as our primary evaluation framework.

    Brands DSGN Exchange is more than a wholesale digital showroom. We believe in a "bricks-and-clicks" approach to maximize exposure for our brands and streamline the retailer's journey. Our offerings include: - Trade Fair Brand Representation - Pop-Up Events - Collaborations - Exhibitions As a brand represented by DSGN Exchange, you'll be matched with various opportunities designed to maximize your exposure. These opportunities will be discussed with you during the brand onboarding process.
